homme beige, the man in beige, is manfred hermann. he and his music partner, jon kaiser released the album june (monkeymusic / universalmusic) in 2005. june captures chill-out music in the truest sense. the album album combines percolating electronica with trippy easy-listening, nu-jazz and classic soundtrack music. the seamless blend of styles leads to poignant hooks and haunting melodies.
june also features accomplished guests such as wolfgang flür (ex-kraftwerk), georg edlinger (austrian jazz-musician) on percussion and electronic-artist alexander guelfenburg from vienna.

homme beige creates a lush atmosphere as they combine live electronics with saxophones and relaxing, lazy downbeats. manfred (powerbook and synths) and jon (dj-ing and effects) perform with nicolas schindler on saxophone to create a subtle, atmospheric sound.
listening to paris chic feels like flying high in summer sunlight. fluid, up beat danceable hooks infuse modern vocal electro pop with a neo disco twist. this award winning project is a joint effort with austrian star producer, georg luksch (madonna, pet shop boys, britney spears).
paris chic is elke de boer (composer, vocalist) manfred hermann and jon kaiser (bureau beige production). In the summer of 2000 manfred and jon decided to move to berlin to find a new, fresh adventure.
elke de boer, who has previously been involved in several music and film projects ("surabaya johnny", "mesrine", "die 3 sternschnuppen") was also on the lookout for something new, when she met the two austrian producers per chance in berlin.
shortly after their coincidental meeting, jon and manfred knocked on elke´s door. when she peered through the peep hole, she initially thought she had visitors from outer space: one tall and lanky with hair like antennas and the other small, slim and bald with futuristic sunglasses.
she invited the two aliens for tea and after hours of chatting they discovered how much they had in common. it felt like a "meant to be-thing" for all of them.
paris chic combines fashion with the music and works with designer team, "vonrot" (www.vonrot.com). designer karsten fielitz actually sings a few back ground vocals! since 2007 the austrian star producer, georg luksch has joined the team and paris chic won the austrian musik-fond. paris chic is currently producing an album at his studio in vienna.
sexy, exotic trip hop is laced with up beat, feel-good tropical inspiration. these songs are full of soul, spontaneity, funkalicious grooves, teasing sounds and playful vocals.
A great story began this project. manfred and jon were in cologne at the popkomm with their manager, susanne. they had searched all day (without luck) for a voice to fit their music. at the end of the long day they waited for their train home. It was then that they spotted a girl with a warm smile and a flower in her hair. She sat on her suitcase and waited for the same platform. without knowing anything about her they proclaimed, "that´s our singer!" They introduced themselves and she parted with their demo. a few weeks later nata lee visited their studio for some austrian cake and recording sessions; the recipe was completed.
